Each year we have five friendly matches against Past Lady Captains’ Golf Societies from Bedfordshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire and Suffolk. All the matches are played off handicap.
Whilst these matches are certainly competitive, they are always enjoyable and offer a great opportunity to play courses you might not normally go to. The day normally includes golf and a two-course meal and the match fee.
If you would like to sign up for any of these matches, you should either let your Club Representative know or you can contact Trina Miller, Match Captain, directly. Trina is keen to give everyone who signs up at least one match.
Every year we run three main competitions.
Mixed 4 ball AM-AM, with the Society of Cambridge Area Golf Captains (CAGU): each team is made up of two men and two ladies, but you must enter as an individual (not as a team)
Spring AM-AM: enter in teams of four.
Autumn Meeting: 4 ball betterball stableford. The competition is followed by the AGM.
These competitions are always relaxed and great fun and it is a good opportunity to catch up with friends. We would love to see you taking part.
