John O'Gaunt Golf Club host East England County Match Week
30 June - 2 July 2025
The first team is selected following the Ladies' County Championship and then participates in the East Region Inter-County Match Days playing each of the other five counties over three days. The format of each match is two foursomes and three singles in each session AM and PM, all played off scratch.

Captains review of County Week 2025
Fantastic but incredibly hot three days of matchplay golf were played against Essex, Herts, Suffolk, Beds and eventual champions Norfolk. The standard of play was of the highest level with many international, plus handicappers and full time golfers. There were some extremely close matches with 3 matches being lost with the finest margin and many games going right down to the last few holes. Congratulations to Olivia, Jess and Emma who all made their debuts this year with Olivia getting her first county win.
Miranda was our top points scorer
The team would like to thank everyone who sent messages of support and those who came to spectate and caddy. The team really do appreciate this over the match days.
From a personal point of view many thanks to both President Roz and Jayne Miles who ensured we all stayed hydrated and cooled as much as possible.
And to all the players thank you for everything over these days once again the team have been an absolute credit to the county which has been reflected in comments from opponent captains and referees.
