The Season Finale was held at the Cambridge Country Club
The penultimate event of the 2025 season i.e. the Season Finale was played on a lovely Autumn day at Cambridge Country Club. The course looked fantastic with all the colours of Autumn on display, it made a spectacular backdrop. Everywhere you looked there were 128 ladies enjoying being out with their friends, enjoying a round of golf and having fun! The ladies of Cambridge Country Club were very welcoming and hospitable. The Halfway House that they provided was to die for and was much appreciated by all who played.
In 4th place was a team from Oldnene Golfclub with a score of 85 Stableford Points - Kim Davis, Sally-Anne Barnard-Taylor, Sarah Attwood, & Gill Downs
In 3rd place was a team from Lakeside Lodge Golf & Country Club with a score of 86 Stableford points - Sue Smith, Joanne Doswell, Hazel Perry & Fiona Dickens
In 2nd place on count back was a team from Royston Golf Club with a score of 86 Stableford points - Tracey Parsons, Sue Bidwell, Kim Bradfield & Bridget Long
The winners of the Season Finale 2025 (and taking 1st Prize with a fantastic score of 87 Stableford points) were a team from Ramsey Golf and Bowls Club - Emma Athow, Sharren Kjenstad, Gail Johnson & Linda Day
Nearest the pin on the 4th went to Liz Daniel of Ely City Golf Club and on the 11th Sarah Attwood from Old Nene.
Cambs & Hunts Womens Golf would like to thank the Cambridge Country Club for hosting the event and it is very much appreciated as we know how much hard work goes into getting these events up and running - Thanks also to our County Competition Secretary - Joy Billany for the time she takes to make sure these events run smoothly. One more event to go tomorrow and then we will see you all at the AGM at Gog Magog in January 2026.
