East Region Championships 2025 - Tuesday 12 August at Bishop Stortford
This is a trial run this year to play all three of the Regional Championship events on one day at one venue, so very much unchartered territory for all concerned and Hertfordshire is pleased to be the Guinea Pig! As a new and untried format, Herts have been fairly vague in terms of numbers and timings - this will be informed by the level of response received. What is known is the maximum entry of players across the day will be 72 and the Womens & Girls event will be over 36 holes of strokeplay and the Seniors will be over 18 holes of strokeplay.
Players entering more than 1 event, if eligible, is perfectly acceptable and in all cases only 1 entry fee will be collected, although players will need to carry out the entry process online for each event they wish to enter – the payment will only be collected from one. If players are confused on this aspect Louis Matamala will support as required, he can be contacted via email secretary@hertfordshiregolf.org. Closing date for entries for all events is 11pm on Tuesday 29 July and the hope is to have the draw and information published w/c 4 August.
